🧠 Harvest Finance Developer Contest
Welcome to the first iteration of the Harvest Finance Developer Contest!
💻 To begin with, we are starting small; a free-form approach to a hackathon. This first stage is a way for developers in the Harvest community to showcase their skills — earning sweet FARM rewards in the process.
⚒️ With the Farmhands working flat-out in the workshop, tweaking the tractors and securing the storehouses, many smaller jobs around the Farm are not being done. So we decided to utilise the brilliant brains and dedicated community that has cropped up at Harvest, from all across the DeFi fields
🧰 What to build?
We feel that there are plenty of developers and designers who can professionalize some of our existing community tooling. Rather than give specific tasks for this first iteration of the Developer Contest, we have opted to allow a laissez-faire approach, with some minor guidelines below:
- Dashboard improvements
- Protocol improvement designs
- Monitoring tools
- Community content
- UX, UI etc.
- Data Analysis tools
- Dapps
- Bots

- You should post a link/picture to your solution on Twitter with the hashtags #HarvestFinance #DeFi #YieldFarming #YourHarvestDiscordUsername and tag @harvest_finance
- We will collect your submission from Twitter.
If you want to make sure that we have taken your submission, you can ask in the #dev channel in our Discord.
The Developer Contest will run from November 9th until November 23rd 1pm UTC. Winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
🎁 Prizes
The best submissions, and the most promising community devs, will receive FARM rewards according to the following structure:
🏆 1st Place — $1,000 in FARM tokens
🥈 2nd Place — $800 in FARM tokens
🥉 3rd Place — $600 in FARM tokens
🏅 4th and 5th place — $450 in FARM tokens
🏅 6th through 10th — $300 in FARM tokens
🏅 11th through 20th — $200 in FARM tokens
TOTAL: $6,800

1. Potential Value to Users (45%)
2. Idea feasibility and viability (30%)
3. Implementation stage (20%)
4. Have you been active in #dev channel in Harvest Discord (5%)
